REST API design

I worked on REST API project for three months from this January to March.
And Project was hold from April 4th up to recently.
However, It Returns Back! I am excited to finish this project end of July.
Our application is basic mobile banking - login, MFA (multi factor authentication), check Checking/Savings/Credit/Loan accounts (account summary , balance, due date, etc), check transaction histories per account, Single Transfer, Scheduled Transfer, Bill Pay, Scheduled Bill Pay (for occurring charge), ATM/Bank Locator, Contact Us, Rates (bank's product and service's fee, rate, rule policy).

For three months , two full time engineer worked on Every use case except for Bill Pay (Bill pay is not processed internally, it should go to 3rd party Bill Pay Provider) , and one full time engineer worked on Bill Pay only.

We finished almost every basic requirements except for minor enhancement (support for multiple Calendar including Gregorian and XMLGregorian) and multiple currency) and multiple Bill Pay provider.

Within 6weeks (1.5 months) we should provide another Bill Pay provider's integration and some enhancement regarding to processing and utility. In the mean while, configuration should be changed from Key value pair to XML based config file format for better maintenance (Rather than key value pair based properties file, XML file is way slow but XML is more easy to maintain by adding meaningful and intuitive entity name and entity value). And also we need to apply some enhancements while we've got requirements from customer center and business unit.

Excited? Of course ~ From April to Mid June (before I went to WWDC 2010) I worked as a O&M engineer to add some enhancement from customer center and business unit which was not fun at all. But I've learned urgent end user's requirement and business unit's requirement thoroughly.

Now, this project I've worked on three months, is related with Well designed application architecture which covers mechanism and industrial standards such as OFX, REST and so on.

It's going to be Fun project
