Saeyoung Jeong is a Research Fellow in the School of Computer Science at the Carnegie Mellon University. She has eBusiness Consulting experience from PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting (merged by IBM) and software development experience in Mobile and Financial Industry.
For the past two years she had researched the usability of Service Oriented Architecture and had developed a transcoding engine for mobile finance solution by connecting back-end system with web service architecture and by adapting smart phone technology at front-ed, covering iPhone, Android and Blackberry.
Saeyoung's recent research interests are in ubiquitous computing and social computing, particularly in building and evaluating usable privacy interaction techniques for context-aware mobile social applications. She has bachelors and masters degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from KAIST and a masters in ISR eBusiness from Carnegie Mellon University. In her free time she enjoys Lindy-hop and contributing Pittsburgh swing community.
